Varya's Pov

It's been 1 week since Sarika's wedding got final and from today all the rasam's of the wedding will start. My family said that they will do the wedding at our house instead of at the groom's house so all the guests are invited to our house.

And that's why my dadi told me to shift my room downstairs but I wasn't going to leave my precious room for the guest and those guests were my friends.

In the span of one week I got close with Singhania's younger clan, like every sibling, I had an encounter with Vyan as well. He is a nice guy.

We even met once, not once but twice. The first time we all met at a restaurant Krish bhai and Kripa joined me as well. That day I had so much fun.

And the second time I was the one who went to their house as dadi needed to give some shagun ki chize.(Auspicious things.)

I first refused to go but no one was home and I wanted to meet Tanya bhabhi as well so I went there.

That day the dadi of Vyan glared at me and showed me attitude but his dadaji, his parents and uncle aunty are so nice and humble not like my family. I felt at home when I was there.

From today the rituals are starting officially. The whole Singhania family will be here by the afternoon, and then both families will go shopping for wedding clothes and other things.

It's currently 11:30 in the morning and today the daughter of badi maa is coming as well. And then my dear pihu will be here as well and I am so excited to meet her after so many days.

I went downstairs to eat something as I didn't have my breakfast so I was hungry.

But in the kitchen everyone was busy making lunch for the Singhania family.

I just took an Apple and started eating.

I was halfway through eating my Apple when I heard a loud voice.

"V MASSI"

It was none other than my pihu.

I kept the half eaten apple on the table and went to living room to see my dear baby standing there on the couch with a big pout.

By hearing her scream everyone came into the living room.

I went to her and picked her up in my arms. Well, she is now becoming heavy to carry around. She is growing up so fast.

Still I took her in my arms and she pecked my both cheeks. Making me smile and pecking her cheeks as well.

"How are you pihu?"

"I'm good massi, how are you?"

She asked and cupped my face with her tiny hands.

"I'm fine my love, did you miss me?"

Before she could answer my question she was interrupted by Sarika.

"Heyy pihu how are you?"

Sarika said and sequeled loudly and tried to take Pihu from me, but Pihu held on to my neck tightly and refused to go.

"I want to stay with V massi"

She said and glared at Sarika,

Sarika laughed awkwardly as everyone was looking at her and then glared at Pihu so I glared at her back and she went to stand beside her mother.

After that I talked with pihu for some time as Kavya di was busy talking with dadi and bua they didn't even let badi maa talk to her.

I looked at badi maa and she looked at me back. I signalled her to talk with Kavya di but she refused and just gave me a small smile.

This is the thing I hate about badi maa. She never took a stand for herself, Kavya di is her daughter and she should be the first one to talk to her daughter.

After almost 15 minutes dadi and bua left Kavya Di's side and then badi maa sat beside her. I was looking at them when I noticed a little baby bump of Kavya di. Was she perhaps pregnant?

"Di, are you pregnant?"

I asked her without thinking twice.

But regretted as now everyone was looking at me and I hate getting the attention from my own family members.

Dadi was about to say something to me when di spoke.

"Yes Varya I'm pregnant, I was going to tell you all but later"

She said and passed me a smile, I returned her a smile and looked at Pihu who was about to doze off on my lap.

"Oyy pihu don't sleep okay you need to have your lunch"

After hearing my voice she woke up and looked at me with an angry pout as I didn't let her sleep and she looked so damn cute.

I pinched her cheeks and spoke.

"Won't you sleep with me in my room?"

I asked her and she nodded excitedly and I heard a voice from behind me.

"I will also sleep in your room di"

It was none other than Kripa.

"Okay my lady"

I said and pihu laughed at the way I spoke.

After that everyone got busy in talking with Kavya di and pihu also went to her mother.

Not long after the Singhania family was here as well, they entered the living room after dadi did the tilak of Vyan.

The biggest smile pulled up on my face when I noticed the younger clan of Singhania's.

I immediately went to them and hugged Tanya bhabhi.

"How are you baby mama and how's the baby doing?"

I asked her and she chuckled at the nickname.

"I'm fine Varya and the baby was missing you"

She said and I said.

"Mera baby kitna cute hai usne mujhe miss kiya pr what about you bhabhi you didn't missed me"

I completed and pouted, I was in my own world when I heard the chuckle from behind me.

I looked behind me and there stood Vyan with his hands in his trousers pocket, the black shirt's sleeves folded till his elbows, giving the good view of his hot arms with veins.

Ho looked hot, I felt embarrassed and stopped doing my tactics.

I was about to leave when Sarah spoke.

"Wow Varya di you are wearing the bracelet, it's looking so good on"

"Thank you Sarah"

"Come inside don't stand here"

I said and took the hands of Tanya bhabhi.

She was alone today as Divyansh bhai was in the office for work. He will come here when we go shopping.

So I thought to take care of Tanya bhabhi till then.

"Aree baccho andar to aao kya yaha pe iske sath baate krne lag gaye aap"

It was Bua who made a disgusting face while mentioning me. Ohh if beating someone every hour they irritated you wasn't a crime this woman has been beaten purple and blue.

"She is our friend bua ji so we are talking to her you do not tell us what to do and what not"

It was Ridan who said that, I looked at him with wide eyes cause he didn't just repeat my words.

"Kya suna suna lag raha hai Varya?"

Tanya bhabhi whispered, making me look at her. She just smirked at me.

Behind her was standing Kripa smiling mischievously.

"Aree aisi baat nhi hai jaisa aap logo ko thik Lage"

Bua said and went away, the embarrassment clearly visible on her face.

"Are baccho chalo khana kha lete hai"

Dadi said and l went to the dining table till then food was served. Kavya di was introduced to the Singhania family.

And today I was sitting between Tanya bhabhi and Vyan.

Don't know how I always end up sitting beside him or he ends up sitting beside me instead of his fiancee. His scent surrounded me. Wow, his scent is just amazing. Maybe I should ask which scent he uses.

I shook off the thought and focused on my lunch.

After lunch I went to my room to change my clothes and Tanya bhabhi, Sarah and Kripa waited for me in the living room.

After I returned the 4 of us and Krish bhai, Tej, and Ridan who were also there we all went out in the parking lot.

"Bhabhi, where is bhai?"

Vyan asked.

"He is going to join us directly in the shop's"

Tanya bhabhi said and Vyan nodded his head.

I stared at him for a minute too long, and he must have felt my stare so he looked at me with those ocean green eyes making my heart skip a beat and red creep up my neck.

I avoided his gaze cause it was not good to look at someone's man.

And why was he looking at me, he should look at his fiancee. Tharki sala.

Author's pov

Varya said in her mind but her face was showing all her emotions and Vyan knew what she was thinking. He knew her very well.

He smiled to himself and looked to the other side.

Varya with Tanya, Sarah and Kripa went in one car with Ridan, Tej wanted to go with them but his dadi took him and Vyan with them.

After sometime both families reached the venue where they were going to shop for the wedding.

Varya was with Tanya all the time and with them was the younger clan of Singhania's even Vyan was with them.

Obviously he couldn't leave his Jaan alone.

But after they reached the shops Vyan was called by his grandmother and Divyansh also came and took Tanya's responsibility after thanking Varya.

Even though Vyan was away from Varya his whole attention was on her. He was looking at her from time to time making sure that Ridan, Tej and Sarah were walking with her, he didn't want her to feel left out.

If it was in his hands he would have kidnapped her from here and would have kept with him till their wedding.

Varya didn't knew that the gifts she received that day from Tanya were given by Vyan, the bracelet and the white saree was given by him.

He knew it wouldn't look appropriate to anyone that he was giving the gifts to her instead of his fiance and moreover she wouldn't have taken the gifts.

The bracelet he gave her is a couple bracelet and when he saw her wearing that bracelet he was really happy.

The other bracelet was with him but he didn't wear it, cause if someone noticed it from her family's side they would taunt her.

Everyone was shopping for the wedding. Half of the shopping was done, just some of the clothes were needed to buy.

Everyone was almost done with their shopping even Tanya and Sarah were done with their shopping but Varya didn't liked anything and was just looking here and there.

When Vyan was done with helping his dadi he saw Varya hadn't bought anything.

He thought for some time and went somewhere after informing Ridan and telling him to take care of Varya.

If only Vyan knew that Ridan's eyes were taking care of someone else.

Vyan came back some time later and passed a package to Tanya and told her to give that package to Varya.

Tanya looked at him teasingly and said yes.

Varya was so done with the shopkeepers showing the same clothes again and again, that she stopped looking for clothes anymore.

"Varya here take this you will love it"

Tanya said, passing the box to Varya.

Varya took the box and opened it. She was mesmerised by seeing the lehengas inside the box.

There were a total of 3 lehengas in the box.

For every ceremony.

The 1st one was of light green colour for the mehendi ceremony. It was very beautiful and perfect for the ceremony.

The 2nd one was of pastel blue colour for the sangeet ceremony, and the 3rd one was of yellow colour for the haldi ceremony.

Every lehenga was so beautiful, Varya admired each and every lehenga taking her own time.

But she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion and looked at Tanya asking her.

"But bhabhi there is no lehenga for wedding"

Varya looked at her confused.

After hearing Varya's statement Tanya didn't knew what to tell her.

After seeing Tanya being speechless Divyansh spoke.

"Maybe they forgot to gave or else you can always buy any dress you want"

Divyansh said, making Varya nod her head happily and Tanya heaved out a sigh in relief.

After that they went to buy some jewellery for Sarika, and till then Varya shopped for matching jewellery for her dresses.

When everyone was done with the shopping they all sat in their respective cars, and this time Vyan and Tej managed to go with their siblings in Varya's car.

Everyone was home but the younger clan of Singhania's and Varya, kripa and Krish were not here.

They were eating ice cream as Tanya suddenly craved ice cream.

Krish's phone rang and it was none other than his mother, he picked up the call and put it on speaker.

"Hello, where are you all it's been 30 minutes since we all reached home, we thought you were just behind us but you are taking so long to come home, it's not good for the bride and groom to roam outside before marriage-

Krish's mother was about to speak something more when Krish cut her off and said.

"Listen to me mom we are just near the house eating icecream and to your information Sarika is not with us, only Vyan is with us, we don't know where Sarika is"

He said and his mother asked in a panicked voice.

"Then where is she? She didn't come with us, did we left her in the Market, agar uski maa ko aur tumhari dadi ko pata chala na ki hum usse chod ke aagaye hai Ghar me ramayan, mahabharat ho jayegi Krish"

She said the last words with worry and in an almost crying voice.

Before Krish could speak his mother spoke again.

"We do not have the courage to face the wrath of your dadi, I toh definitely don't, pata nhi Varya har baar kese sehen kr leti hai par hum log Varya nhi hai toh us Sarika ko dhund ke lao"

His mother Priya said her voice was laced with more tension than before.

"Mom calm down nothing would happen okay I would just call her and see where she is okay you calm down and don't tell anyone about this"

Krish assured his mother and cut the call.

He looked at everyone and everyone was looking at him except Kripa and Ridan.

Kripa was busy eating her ice cream as she really didn't care about Sarika and Ridan was busy on his phone god knows what he was watching so intently.

Krish cleared his throat to grab their attention but the both of them ignored him.

He was about to clear his throat again to catch their attention but Varya was faster than him, she called them.

"Kripa look up we are discussing something serious rather than eating that empty bowl will you"

Varya tried to say in a more casual tone instead of the cold voice which was threatening to come out because of the tension.

Kripa looked up embarrassed and gave her full attention to Varya.

Varya looked at Ridan who was still on his phone and spoke.

"Ridan If you are done digging the hole in your phone by your fingers then please give your precious attention to us"

Varya completed and smiled sweetly at him, which he knew was as fake as the flowers put on their table in the vase. Vyan chuckled slowly at Varya's remark, and admired her face.

Ridan shook his head at her sarcastic remark and kept his phone in his pocket and held his hands in the surrender position and said.

"As you say my lady"

Ridan said and bowed down on which he earned a faux smile from Varya and a hard kick under the table from Vyan who was looking so jealous.

Varya had gotten really close to the younger clan of Singhania's except Vyan so no one took her sarcastic and savage remarks seriously; they knew how she spoke.

"Bhai call her"

Varya demanded she was so done with Sarika disappearing now and then, she saw Sarika disappearing thrice while they were shopping and everyone thought that she was just looking around whereas truth to be told that she was meeting her boyfriend at the market.

Varya saw Sarika's boyfriend Kunal at the market when they had just come to the market she thought it was just a coincidence but when Sarika disappeared suddenly she looked for her and regretted it cause she caught Sarika with her boyfriend making out outside of the girls washroom.

After seeing them Varya just left quietly and didn't tell this to anyone. She just felt really bad for Vyan. She wanted to tell him about his soon to be wife but she was hesitant and didn't utter anything.

After Krish called Sarika she picked up the call after a few rings.

"Where are you Sarika? Why aren't you home yet?"

Krish asked her in a monotonous tone trying to be concerned.

"I will be home after sometime"

Sarika spoke carelessly from the other side and was about to cut the call but before that Varya took the phone and spoke to Sarika in a no nonsense tone.

"Be in the garden located at the back side of our house in just 10 minutes don't be late Sarika the consequences will be really bad I'm telling you"

After hearing Varya's statement Sarika felt irritated but replied with a yes and cut the call as she never knew what Varya could do to her. Vyan was feeling really proud of Varya at the way she was handling situation he gave zero fucks about Sarika his whole attention was on Varya.

"Let's get going I lost the mood of eating ice cream, bhai drop me to that garden"

Varya told Krish and he knew his sister could handle the disaster named Sarika alone. He trusted her and that's why he dropped her in front of the garden gate and said that they will wait for them. Varya just nodded at them and went inside feeling all the gazes on her.

She went inside the garden and saw Sarika sitting on one of the benches in the garden Varya walked towards her making Sarika stand up, Sarika visibly shuddered at the blank expression of Varya.

"Where were you Sarika?"

Varya asked her and sat down on the bench keeping her one arm on the head rest to sit comfortably and crossed her legs.

"What do you want to do with where I was"

Sarika asked loudly, trying to appear more powerful than Varya but she was aware of who was in power.

"Answer what I asked Sarika, or should I tell you where were you, you were with your boyfriend in the market, as per my information you two broke up then why were you making out with him in front of the girls washroom"

Varya asked without beating around the bush. And Sarika widened her eyes at Varya's statement.

"H-how do you know?"

Sarika asked stuttering and wiped the sweat beads forming on her forehead.

"You answer me don't question me back"

Varya said and stood up, making Sarika take a step back.

"I-I Actually when we all went to the market he was there as well, I swear I broke up with him after the wedding was finalised, but today when he saw me in the market he angrily dragged me towards the washroom and forcefully kissed me"

Sarika said and by the end of her speech she had tears in eyes.

Varya didn't want to trust her but she had always been paranoid about Sarika but for the first time she wanted to believe her not knowing Sarika was lying but Varya thought that Sarika wouldn't lie about such a sensitive topic so she didn't say anything but warned Sarika.

"If this turns out be a lie then you better be ready for the consequences, Vyan is a really nice guys and so is his family, so think twice before hurting anyone's feelings form their family and as well as from our family"

Varya said and signalled Sarika to follow her and Sarika took a breath of relief after she successfully lied to Varya.

They both sat in the car and went home.
